This CREATIVE ART CLASS — Purge with Paint – Snake — is inspired by what I wish had existed when I began exploring my own creative and emotional expression six years ago. ❤️🩹
This program offers a visual way to explore personal experiences through symbolic painting. Using a layered painting process, you’ll experiment with expressing complex themes in a creative, tangible form — even if you’ve never painted before.
This isn’t a typical step-by-step “how to do art” program. It’s designed to guide you through a unique painting process that encourages reflection and perspective, using creative symbolism like the snake to explore themes of fear, courage, and personal narrative.
I’ve been there — feeling like I had to hide parts of myself, second-guessing my feelings, tolerating too much, and wearing the “too nice” mask. Through painting, I found a way to express these stories symbolically on canvas.
You won’t be doing someone else’s work — this is about your own process and what emerges for you.
Will this be challenging? Yes! Engaging with your own story can feel confronting. But this is an opportunity to explore yourself through creativity, see things from a new perspective, and engage in a guided artistic process.
Painting the snake draws on symbolic storytelling and Jungian archetypes, inviting you to creatively face themes that may feel challenging — all through the canvas, at your own pace.

I now offer creative art classes designed to help participants express themselves, reflect on personal experiences, and engage with their creativity in a meaningful way.
I’ve been in the art industry for over 10 years — winning an art award, facilitating exhibitions, working in an art supply store, and selling my own pieces to collectors around the world.
This program combines mixed media art practices, symbolism, and guided creative exercises to offer a reflective, hands-on artistic experience. Participants can explore new perspectives and experiment with self-expression, all at their own pace.

PROGRAM
Some of your questions answered:
How long does the program take?
Depending on your choices of creativity - anywhere between 7-10 days. It is a self-paced online program and you get to choose when the next layer goes on...but I highly recommend putting aside about an hour or two (again depending on the layer experience) per day consistently for 7 days straight!
How long can I access the program?
Come and go as you please! Until otherwise stated.
What if it wasn't what I expected?
Due to the nature of this being an online program, there is no refunds. Do please send a message through with any questions, so we can help accommodate you as soon as possible.
Do I need a lot of supplies?
In 2 specific layers there are 2 supplies that are specific to the process but the rest can be sourced from what you may have lying around already! You can choose any size canvas, acrylic paints can be any colours you decide upon, brushes can be kept simple, water, yogurt container, tweezers, paper cupcake holders, rag, palette (can be a recycled lid of some sort), in the supply session you'll see the list and some links to help you with anything you need to add.
When you enrol, you will receive access to Sarah in the program.
Also, there is a BONUS inside this program called Purge with Poetry - Trigger Flip, where you are given poetry prompts for 21 days (or self-paced) to flip the script on what may trigger you! This is your secret weapon! Best used when in the moment. Huge BONUS! You're going to love the challenges in the prompts and you don't have to be a poet for this either. More creative approaches to your empowerment.
