SERVICE AGREEMENT & TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Magical Art Therapy

This Service Agreement (“Agreement”) governs your access to and use of all digital courses and content offered by SARAH SLATER, operating as a sole trader under an Australian Business Number (ABN).
By purchasing or accessing any course, you (“you”, “the participant”) agree to be bound by this Agreement.
1. About the Services
We provide self-paced, online digital courses focused on creative expression, symbolism, personal insight, and emotional exploration.
All courses are delivered digitally and are not time-limited, unless otherwise stated.
2. Educational & Non-Clinical Nature of Services
All content offered through Magical Art Therapy is provided for educational, creative, and personal development purposes only.
Despite the use of the word “therapy” in the business name, the services provided are non-clinical and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any mental health condition.
Participation does not establish a therapist–client, counsellor–client, medical, or other professional healthcare relationship.
3. Definition of “Magical Art Therapy”
For the purposes of this Agreement, “Magical Art Therapy” is a descriptive brand name only.
It refers to creative, symbolic, and expressive art practices designed for self-reflection, emotional expression, and personal growth.
It does not refer to clinical art therapy, psychotherapy, counselling, or licensed mental health treatment.
4. Eligibility & Pre-Screening
By purchasing a course, you confirm that:
* You are at least 18 years of age
* You are not currently experiencing an acute mental health crisis
* You understand the content may be emotionally activating or triggering
* You take responsibility for assessing your own suitability to participate
Our courses are not suitable for individuals requiring crisis intervention or immediate mental health care.
5. Informed Consent & Emotional Risk
You acknowledge that:
* Courses may explore emotionally sensitive topics, including but not limited to emotional release, anger, grief, trauma awareness, and identity exploration
* Emotional responses vary between individuals
* You are responsible for monitoring your own emotional and psychological wellbeing
You may pause, modify, skip, or stop any activity at any time.
6. Crisis Protocol & Support
If at any time you experience severe distress, suicidal thoughts, dissociation, panic, or feel unable to cope safely, you agree to:
* Stop participating immediately
* Seek professional or emergency support

If you are outside Australia, you agree to seek equivalent services in your country.
7. Personal Responsibility
You agree that:
* Participation is voluntary and self-directed
* You are solely responsible for your physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing
* No specific outcomes are guaranteed
8. No Refunds & Digital Access
Due to the digital nature of the products, no refunds are offered for change of mind.
This does not exclude or limit your rights under Australian Consumer Law, including guarantees that cannot be excluded by law.
If you experience a technical issue preventing access to purchased content, please contact us so we may attempt to resolve the issue.
9. Intellectual Property
All content, including videos, artwork, written materials, exercises, and course structure, is the intellectual property of SARAH SLATER unless otherwise stated.
You may not reproduce, distribute, share, or resell any content without prior written permission.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
* We are not liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from participation in the courses
* We do not accept responsibility for emotional or psychological outcomes resulting from participation
Nothing in this Agreement limits liability where it cannot be lawfully excluded under Australian law.
11. Future Services
We may offer additional services in the future, including memberships, live sessions, or community spaces.
Any such services may be subject to additional terms, which will be provided at the time of offering.
12. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of Australia, and you submit to the jurisdiction of Australian courts.
